Fernando DeAndrade, Jr. Memorial Fund

The DeAndrade family has pledged to help FOLIO(Friends of the Library in Oxford) with proceeds raised from fundraisers held by the family in honor of their son’s memory.  The funds are earmarked for the Children’s Section in a new library building.  Their hope is to raise money to furnish a Children’s craft room and story time area for all of the kids of Oxford to enjoy.

The DeAndrades have already donated over $3000 to the Fernando DeAndrade, Jr. Memorial Fund from proceeds that were raised from their ‘Spy Night’ fundraiser held November 2007 at the Colonial Tavern.  The Friends are extremely grateful for their generous support for such a worthwhile cause.
