Museum Passes

**Please note** Some attractions have begun opening, some are using passes, most are not. We will update our information as we receive it. Thank you and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Information below on Connecticut Attractions as of September 21, 2022.

You may reserve a pass for one day use, only one pass per family per day. You check the pass out like a book with your library card, and you must return it before we open the following business day. If you do not return it on time, we will assess a $5 per day late fee to your card, and you are inconveniencing the next family that wanted to take the pass. All passes are donated by our Friends of the Library, and lost passes require you to pay the full fee for replacement.

Beardsley Zoo

Beardsley Zoo  www.beardsleyzoo.org
Open daily 9 a.m.—4 p.m.
(203) 394-6565 1875 Noble Ave, Bridgeport, CT
Library Discount pass=$10 admission rate per person, Adult or Child, with a limit up to 6 people in their own family–
valid through January 30th, 2024.

The only way to use the pass is in person, at the EBT/LIBRARY/MEMBER windowThere is no way to pay online with the pass. Patrons should check-in at the Library window when they arrive, show the pass, and pay admission. Library pass patrons should not be concerned if they see a “Sold-Out” message on zoo website or Social Media, as that message pertains to general admission tickets and they have already allotted room in their capacity head counts for the library patrons each day. If library patrons bring more people than the family limit of 6, their extra guests will need to present a receipt showing they purchased their own tickets, in advance, online, at our website.  They are not selling those extra general admission tickets in person right now. Beginning May 1st, the Zoo will follow the state of Connecticut’s and Governor Lamont’s recommendations and guidelines in regards to mask wearing. Although we strongly recommend that guests continue to wear masks while visiting the Zoo, when you are outside and are maintaining social distancing, you may remove your masks.

Please note that if social distancing cannot be maintained –for instance, in lines at the front gate, at the café, or gift shop kiosk outdoors—you should wear your mask. In addition, in any indoor area, masks are required.
