Oxford Public Library Story Time Policy
Oxford Public Library Story Time Policy
Registration:
Preference is given to Oxford residents.
Oxford residents and non-Oxford residents may stop in or call one week prior to the start of the storytime series.
Waiting List:
Once a storytime series is filled, Oxford residents will be put on a waiting list and called if there is space available.
If a storytime session is filled and the child is put on a waiting list, he/she is automatically signed up for the next storytime series. A call will be made prior to that series to confirm the day and time of your child’s storytime.
Non-Resident List:
Due to our space limitations, non-Oxford residents will be placed on a non-resident list.
If there is room in the storytime of choice prior to its starting, a call will be placed and the child admitted after the Oxford waiting list has been depleted.
The non-resident list will be dissolved after the storytime series is completed.
Additional Information:
If the Oxford Public Schools are canceled due to inclement weather, storytime is also canceled and will be extended one week.
The library should be notified if the child is not able to attend.
All parents/caregivers are required to remain in the library for the duration of the program. Failure of compliance will result in loss of storytime privileges for the remainder of the series.
