Kids and Teens

Weekly Story Times

We have three story times a week, Baby Time, Toddler Time, and Sensory Friendly Story Time.

We encourage families to try out all of them to see what fits your child best! While Baby Time requires interaction with the child's adult, Toddler Time encourages the children to interact more on their own. Sensory Friendly Story Time offers a less stimulating experience, with a visual schedule each week and a special activity that focuses on developing skills in social, cognitive, motor, and more!

Teen Volunteer Opportunities

Our teen volunteers are such an important part of making the library run smoothly! Volunteer hours are once a week and can be viewed/registered for on our calendar. Though there is always something new at the library, some common tasks that our teen volunteers help with include...

Preparing crafts
Researching suggestions for new books
Cleaning and organizing
Finding books that need repairs or replacing
Alphabetizing
Creating suggestion lists for other readers
Weeding the collection
Preparing new books to be added
